ROBIN  BLAKE
1951  -  2017

Former club member Robin Blake died on February 21st aged 65.  Robin was a very popular club member having attended Tanglewood for 43 years. It was  In 1972 Robin, along with five other club members, joined me on the very first Tanglewood club holiday.  When Robin left Tanglewood in 2013 he left a massive void, club just wasn't the same without him. Unfortunately his health was deteriorating and he has spent the past few years in a care home.  He will always be remembered as just a very likable person.

The Funeral, on Friday 17th March, went very well. It was nice to see a few club members and their parents there and to see Bernie Flaherty representing Harrow Council.

Robin's brother, Geoff and his wife Carol, visited the club on the 13th

ANNUAL  COUNCIL GRANT
The London Borough of Harrow have informed us that we will not be receiving our General fund grant of 3,663 this year.  Yet another part of the Council cost-cutting.  I have little doubt that the forthcoming Council Tax will increase. This annual grant amounted to 20% of our income last year. If you get the chance to complain to your Councillor please do so and ask them to contact me.
